Terms of Service
The rules for using this Service.
Last updated: 20 April 2026
Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using LLM-DX (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Gavin Fitzpatrick (“we”, “us”), a sole operator based in the European Union.
What the Service is
The Service is a free self-assessment and AI-audit tool that helps you evaluate the quality of your AI workflow practice across seven dimensions. It returns scores and qualitative guidance based on your inputs. The Service is informational and educational only — it is not professional advice (legal, financial, security, medical, or otherwise).
Accounts & sign-in
You can use the Service anonymously. Sign-in (via email magic link, Google, or Apple) is optional and is provided so you can save assessment history. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials and email account secure. You may delete your account at any time from Account menu → Delete account; this wipes all associated data.
Acceptable use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service to violate any law, regulation, or third-party right.
- Submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, infringing, malicious, or contains personal data of third parties without their consent.
- Attempt to probe, scan, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service, its infrastructure, or other users' sessions.
- Bypass rate limits, scrape at scale, or generate automated traffic that degrades availability.
- Use the Service to train competing AI models or to redistribute the guidance content as your own product.
- Submit confidential, regulated, or sensitive personal data (e.g. health records, payment card data, government IDs) into any free-text field.
We may suspend or terminate access for any user we reasonably believe has violated these rules.
Intellectual property
The assessment framework, dimension definitions, scoring logic, prompt library, and written guidance are © Gavin Fitzpatrick and licensed under CC BY 4.0. You may share and adapt the material with attribution. Trademarks of third parties (Google, Apple, Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.) belong to their respective owners.
AI audit content you paste
When you import an AI audit, you paste a structured summary into the app. You retain ownership of any content you submit. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content solely to compute and return your assessment scores and to store the resulting scores against your account if you sign in. We do not use your pasted content to train models.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share whatever you paste, and that it does not contain confidential information belonging to your employer, clients, or any third party.
No warranty / 'as-is'
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability.
Assessment scores and guidance are heuristics, not professional advice. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on the output of the Service. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available, error-free, secure, or that any benchmarks shown are statistically valid for your specific situation.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed EUR 100 or the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is greater. The Service is currently provided free of charge.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including, where applicable, statutory consumer rights and liability for fraud, gross negligence, death, or personal injury caused by negligence).
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your misuse of the Service, or (c) your violation of any law or third-party right, including any content you submit that infringes someone else's rights.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. You may delete your account self-serve from Account menu → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if continuing to provide the Service to you would create legal or operational risk for us.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, no warranty, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law) will survive.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms occasionally to reflect product changes or new legal requirements. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be flagged in the app before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service, except that you may bring claims in your country of residence where required by mandatory local consumer-protection law.
EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
